About

Welcome to the Thunderhead Chronicle.

This is my private writing blog, where I post short stories, light novels, NaNoWriMo projects, and more.

During the month of November, it will update at mid-night Monday-Saturday until the entirety of my NaNoWriMo novel has been posted.

For those of you curious about NaNoWriMo, it is the National Novel Writing Month as produced by the Office of Light and Letters.  It is an annual, month long challenge to write 50,000 words in 30 days.  This averages out to 1,667 words per day.  It is a daunting challenge, but I think I might be up for it.

Please feel free to comment on anything you see or read, and let me know how you feel about the stories I am telling.  I am genuinely interested.

Once December rolls around, or I finish NaNoWriMo if that happens first, I will begin writing other stories for the site, including the following
  • Outbound Light - A story of mankind's attempt to tame the barren deserts of the worlds beyond our atmosphere and the challenges we face as we take our first steps beyond our cradle.  But the darkness which lurks in the hearts of man will always reassert themselves in this world, and the father from civilization you get, the harsher they will be when they manifest themselves.
  • Sandstorm - A young man who has never lived in the same place for more than three years at a time, Aidan McNamara returns to the Kansai Region of Japan after his father is named the Deputy Chief of Mission for the US Consulate-General in Osaka.  As a Gaijin living in a land where homogeny is celebrated, the sudden awakening of peter-natural powers to control the very ground upon which he stands makes him an outcast as well as a hero.
